Washington, DC (November 29, 2018) — In light of three recent reports, the American College of Physicians (ACP) is deeply concerned about the negative impact that climate change is having on public health and patients, and that these effects will worsen without immediate action.

American College of Physicians names new Vice President for Medical Education

Philadelphia, November 28, 2018 -- The American College of Physicians (ACP) has named Tabassum Salam, MD, FACP, as the organization’s Vice President for Medical Education, effective December 3, 2018.

ACP made the selection after a national search for the largest medical specialty organization in the United States. Dr. Salam succeeds Sean McKinney, who retired in June.
