Grantees selected to help reduce educational and training gaps for obesity care
PHILADELPHIA, April 3, 2025 – Today, the American College of Physicians (ACP) announced that it has awarded a total of $260,000 in grants to support regional programs that address equity challenges in obesity care. Thirteen grantees were each awarded $20,000 to implement collaborative regional outreach projects.
NEW ORLEANS, April 2, 2025 — The American College of Physicians (ACP) honors outstanding contributions to medicine at its annual convocation ceremony on Thursday, April 3 at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, where ACP is hosting its annual scientific conference, Internal Medicine Meeting 2025, through April 5.
NEW ORLEANS April 2, 2025—The American College of Physicians (ACP) is honoring six chief residents as winners of the Herbert S. Waxman Chief Resident Teaching Scholarships at Internal Medicine Meeting 2025, ACP’s annual scientific meeting taking place April 3-5, at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

The competitions are open to ACP Early Career Physician Members, ACP Resident/Fellow Members, and Medical Students Members.
