Washington, DC (August 1, 2018) — The American College of Physicians (ACP) submitted a letter to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) on July 31 providing comments on the Trump administration’s proposed changes to the Title X regulations.

Washington, DC (July 27, 2018) — The American College of Physicians (ACP) is encouraged by provisions included in the Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) & Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) proposed rule that supports site-neutral payment that was released by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on July 25.

Washington, DC — The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has proposed a rule that significantly amends regulations governing the Title X of the Public Health Service Act (Title X), the only federal program exclusively dedicated to providing low-income patients (including adolescents) with access to family planning and preventive health services and information. Federally funded Title X facilities provide access to health and cancer screenings, well woman exams, contraception and testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections.
