Internal Medicine Physicians Discouraged by Supreme Court Decision that will Allow Bump Stocks

WASHINGTON June 14, 2024 – The American College of Physicians (ACP) is extremely discouraged by the U.S. Supreme Court decision that restricts the federal government’s ability to regulate bump stocks. Firearms-related death and injuries are a public health epidemic in our country.  As physicians we too often come face-to-face with the tragedy of firearm violence.

Doctor’s Dilemma® Question Development Committee

Involvement type:

The American College of Physicians is seeking physician members to write and review questions for the national Doctor’s Dilemma® Competition held at the annual ACP Internal Medicine Meeting.

Purpose:

Committee members play an active role in fostering resident education by developing and refining questions across 11 knowledge areas of internal medicine for the national Doctor’s Dilemma® Competition.
