ACP announces pilot test of reviewed digital health tools identified using foundational criteria jointly developed with the ATA and ORCHA

CHICAGO April 29, 2022 – The American College of Physicians (ACP) convened a panel today to release a new paper that issues recommendations for more effective collaboration between primary care and specialty physicians to improve patient care.

CHICAGO, April 28, 2022 – The American College of Physicians (ACP) convened a panel today to discuss what ACP is doing to support its commitment to advance diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) within the organization and throughout the profession. The panel took place during a press briefing at Internal Medicine Meeting 2022, ACP’s annual scientific meeting.

Members of the panel were: Dr. Darilyn Moyer, ACP Executive Vice President and CEO; Dr. George Abraham, ACP President; Dr. Sue Bornstein, Chair-elect, ACP Board of Regents and Dr. Ryan Mire, ACP President-elect.

CHICAGO, April 25, 2022 – The American College of Physicians (ACP) is honoring six chief residents as winners of the Herbert S. Waxman Chief Resident Teaching Scholarships at Internal Medicine Meeting 2022, ACP’s annual scientific meeting taking place April 28-30 in Chicago.

The 2022 chief resident awardees are:

WASHINGTON April 22, 2022 – The 2022 National Drug Control Strategy released by the White House yesterday would expand substance use prevention and early intervention strategies and enable physicians to more effectively provide treatment to patients with substance use disorder (SUD). SUD is a treatable chronic medical condition, like diabetes and hypertension, but access to care for this disorder is limited.
