Each chapter functions a little differently, but many chapters
offer programs and activities such as meetings and networking
opportunities, community-based teaching programs, and public policy
initiatives. Your chapter may be able to aid you in planning
activities or finding speaking for events.

The CSM is responsible for planning programs for the annual meeting
for medical students and providing a student perspective on current
issues impacting the field of internal medicine.

Developed by the Council of Student Members, this guide will
provide practical information about how to set up an IMIG, best
practices for your IMIG, and ideas for activities and events. New
to this edition are sections on how to establish a journal club and
how to hold a residency fair at your school.
