Internal Medicine Meeting 2021, ACP's premier annual meeting, was held virtually April 29-May 1, 2021, and had an attendance of 7,000 physicians. The event featured more than 125 sessions covering a wide variety of clinical and practice management topics for doctors of internal medicine and its subspecialties. 1,052 attendees from outside the United States came to the meeting. The top countries outside the United States with the highest number of attendees registered were Canada, Mexico, Sri Lanka and Colombia.

At the Convocation Ceremony on April 29, 901 physicians were inducted as ACP Fellows; of those, 75 reside outside the United States. Fifty-three members received Mastership and 24 were granted awards. The College bestowed Honorary Fellowships to 9 presidents of international internal medicine societies.
