Vision Statement: My vision for the Caribbean Chapter of the ACP focuses on forging stronger professional bonds between internal medicine physicians across our disparate territories by continuing our Regional Grand Rounds and Annual Meeting with presenters and attendees from as many territories as possible. I would focus on the future of internal medicine in the region; our students and residents. Through virtual and in-person visits with them I would encourage their fulsome participation in the College. I also look forward to guiding our chapter in recognizing senior members who have made significant contributions to the teaching and practice of medicine in the region. I would also hope to lead on issues of wellness, nominating additional wellbeing champions, integrating them into our outreach work, and advocating for wellness initiatives in our hospitals and health centers.
