Candidate Bios

Candidate Statement: The US Air Force gave me many opportunities to not only practice Internal Medicine, but to learn organizational and leadership skills at a young age. Within my first year out of residency, I was the Chief of Internal Medicine which quickly became Chief of the Medicine Flight over several areas. I have been involved with the ACP both in the USAF as well as in Maine. I have chaired and led large groups of physicians for positive changes both clinically and operationally and feel I can bring that experience to the Board of Governors. I am also in the Maine Chapter of SHM on their version of the GAC, which helps to bring insights from both statewide organizations to the other. For many years I have served on the Maine Governor’s Advisory Council, and I would like to further help my chapter by representing it on the Board of Governors.
