Well-being Champion Adaptable Presentation: Well-being Happy Hours
Based on the popular interprofessional happy hours that North Carolina Well-being Champion Diana McNeill instituted at her organization, this new adaptable slide deck and facilitator guide for ACP Well-being Champions offers a set of well-being activities to use in your own well-being happy hour. Mix and match well-being prompts to make the event your own. Participants will learn strategies to enhance their personal wellness, as well as build community during a time of physical distancing.
“Death by 1000 Cuts”: Medscape National Physician Burnout and Suicide Report 2021

The 2021 Physician Burnout and Suicide Report, based on data collected by physicians in fall 2020, illustrates how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the extant problem of physician burnout. Nearly three out of four physicians surveyed indicate that burnout has a moderate to severe impact on their lives, illustrating a deepening crisis in the medical profession. However, the survey does identify interventions that could help physicians, mainly focused on organizational and cultural change.
