QPP Participation Status Tool now includes third snapshot of 2018 Qualifying APM Participant (QP) and MIPS APMs data
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) updated its Quality Payment Program Participation Status Tool based on calculations from the third snapshot of data from Alternative Payment Model (APM) entities. This means all clinicians and groups should now know definitively whether or not they qualify for QP status in an Advanced APM for the 2018 performance year. Those who qualify as eligible for a 5 percent APM incentive bonus are exempt from participating in MIPS. For more information, visit the QP Methodology Fact Sheet.
