Noah McKittrick, MD, was born in central Illinois and attended the University of Chicago, where he completed a degree in History and Philosophy of Science and Medicine. After his undergraduate degree, Noah joined the Peace Corps, working as a physics and chemistry teacher in a secondary school in Malawi. Upon return to the United States, he worked as a post-baccalaureate research fellow at the NIH studying malaria and humoral immunity, including work on a longitudinal study of malaria immune response in Mali. His studies then took him to the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where he graduated in 2011. He is currently completing his residency in Internal Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, and will be starting a fellowship in Infectious Disease at Stanford University later this year.
