Mobile App Community Lead
The American College of Physicians is seeking physician members to lead engaging conversations in the new mobile app, ACP Connect, member unique interest communities.
Purpose:
A Community Lead engages members in specific ACP Connect mobile app communities, such as medical students, residents, Women in Medicine, etc. With the goal to facilitate participation and interaction the Community Leads share conversation starter posts, such as medical or advocacy articles, or pose a question.
This app is accessible only on cell and tablet devices.
Responsibilities:
- Create engaging posts relative to your community.
- Post links and articles of interest to start a conversation or raise awareness about advocacy weekly.
- Reply and follow-up in a timely manner.
- Know when to “step” in as needed to guide a thread/conversation.
- Willingness to reach out to ACP staff if needed to address issues or support members.
- Be a resource to point members to the right source of information, i.e. ACP opportunity, academic information, or networking connection.

This opportunity is an ongoing opportunity available throughout the year, open to all members, done on your own schedule, and invest as much time as the Community Lead prefers. Must be a member in good standing.
Goal:
- Engage members, by highlighting ACPs resources and benefits, facilitating participation and interaction, and raising awareness about ACP advocacy, with the goal of members getting more involved in ACP activities.
- Engage members so they can understand all that ACP offer.
