Joint letter to the Biden administration and congressional leadership in support of increasing Medicare-supported Graduate Medical Education (GME) positions-such as through the Resident Physician Shortage Reduction Act of 2021 (S. 834/H.R. 2256), bipartisan legislation that would help alleviate the physician shortage with 14,000 new Medicare-supported GME positions-in any upcoming jobs and infrastructure legislative package such as the American Jobs Plan.
