Clinical Practice Guideline and Evidence Review on the treatment of acute low back pain in primary care settings. This Guideline addresses the healthcare costs associated with diagnostic tests for low back pain treatment and the risks versus benefits to the patient of receiving these tests. It also reviewed medications for acute and chronic low back pain as well as nonpharmacologic therapies.
