ACP reminds adults: vaccines aren't just for children
August is National Immunization Awareness month. ACP is reminding adults about the importance of vaccinations for protection against many common and serious diseases. The latest adult immunization schedule and recommendations approved by the ACIP are available in Annals of Internal Medicine. ACP's Adult Immunization Resource Hub is another source of information for the latest vaccine recommendations, patient education resources, quality improvement strategies, practice assessments, and more.
Host a ‘#ProudtobeGIM’ event, apply for grant funding
ACP is partnering with the Society of General Internal Medicine (SGIM) on #ProudtobeGIM, a nationwide campaign to introduce medical students and first- and second-year residents to the field of general internal medicine.
