PHILADELPHIA, August 10, 2022 -- The American College of Physicians (ACP) has named Todd Ware as its Vice President, Publishing.
As Vice President of the Publishing Division, Ware will be involved in the development of strategy alignment with the College’s strategic priorities, including the Division’s goals, to add value, along with revenue and cost containment, to ACP publications for the benefit of our members, customers, and users.
The teams reporting to Ware consist of Production, Electronic Publishing, Sales and Circulation. The teams are responsible for a variety of activities that include the creation, delivery, sales, and circulation of various informational products, such as journals, books, podcasts, videos, magazines, newsletters, apps, webinars, as well as literature surveillance and point-of-care resources.
Ware will continue to develop collaborations internally and externally with publishing partners to advance the College’s mission. As Vice President, Ware will join the ACP Senior Leadership Group, as well as represent ACP in the scholarly publishing community and the public as appropriate.
Prior to joining ACP, Ware managed publishing production teams for regional companies, such as Great Minds in Washington, DC; Reed Elsevier Inc. in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; The Sheridan Press in Hanover, Pennsylvania; McGraw Hill in New York, New York; and Pearson in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey.
