Candidate Statement: As a proud internist, active member of ACP-NJ's Governor's Council, and lifelong "Jersey Girl," I am honored to be considered for Northern Governor. ACP-NJ is my professional home where I've found camaraderie, support, and inspiration with a collaborative community of colleagues dedicated to bettering health, promoting continued learning, and advocating for our patients, our communities, and our own well-being. I aspire to encourage colleagues at all career stages to join us and feel at home: to connect, access best practice resources and CME activities, stay abreast of health policy, and get involved with ACP-NJ committees as advocates. I will champion professional growth and advancement to ACP fellowship and mastership. Lastly, I am committed to recruiting the next generation of internists. I hope together we can inspire them to understand how rewarding a career in primary care is, and advocate for measures that enhance its competitiveness as a career option.
