Governor's Welcome

Minnesota ACP friends,

As we begin another year, I want to reflect on the incredible community we've built within the Minnesota chapter of the ACP. This past year has been marked by resilience, collaboration, and a shared commitment to advancing internal medicine and improving patient care. Together, we've achieved so much, from fostering professional growth to advocating for equity and innovation in healthcare. As we look ahead to the new year, I'm reminded of the words of Helen Keller: “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”

This sentiment rings true as each of us carries the mantle of our profession within our local contexts, whether in clinics, hospitals, classrooms, or communities. It's through our shared efforts and mutual support that we amplify our impact and uphold the values of internal medicine. Thank you for being an integral part of this vibrant community. Here's to a bright 2025 filled with connection, growth, and meaningful contributions to our patients and our profession!

Warm regards,

Tseganesh Selameab, MD, FACP

Governor, Minnesota ACP
