The goal of the ACP-funded IMIG is to get students acquainted with local internists who might help foster their interest in internal medicine. To learn more about the IMIG, e-mail the faculty advisor, Molly Southworth, MD, MPH. Some of the group's activities include:
- Brown-bag planning lunch
- Dinner gathering hosted by the ACP Alaska Chapter
- An informal evening of desserts and conversation at Molly's house
- An Evening of Food and Fun Speakers in memory of Dr. Thomas Gordon
- Financial support of WWAMI students to attend ACP's annual Internal Medicine meeting
