Eduardo De Alba, MD, FACP graduated from the University of Maryland and received his B.A. from John Hopkins University. Until the mid 70's ACP governors were elected for 3 years. Dr. Alba was elected twice. He is now retired but before that he spent most of his career as a cardiologist at Gorgas Hospital from 1951-1990. He was a very distinguished teacher and is remembered by the Chapter members as on of our great leaders.
